Five NYX Faves

I have been a total NYX girl for many years now. What I think I love most is how the quality doesn't suffer due to the inexpensive price point. NYX is also one of those brands that takes into account what items their customers are looking for and they deliver. So for my first glam post, I wanted to share my fave five of all time NYX products.

1. NYX Liquid Suede in Sandstorm

All of the NYX Liquid Suede matte lip colors are gorg, but Sandstorm is the perfect nude for the brown girl. It's also a great mixing color. I usually add a pop of pink in the middle for an ombre look.

2. NYX HD Finishing Powder in Banana

This finishing powder has literally taken my beat to the next level. I remember a few years back when Ben Nye's Banana Powder was the "best kept beauty secret," being a little younger, she was a bit expensive to get and keep stocked. So when I saw that NYX actually had a comparable dupe I was all over it.  I use this color to set my highlight, and being an oily girl, she keeps me from looking too shiny.

3. NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Espresso

This pencil is literally life. While I love brow pomade's and the sleekness they bring, I feel like that's what you use when you actually have time to craft and construct your brows. This pencil is such a good quick and on-the-go brow applicator, and it also comes with a spoolie brush on the other end.

4. NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Espresso

Like the Micro Brow Pencil, this brow mascara is great for on the go. Pair it with the pencil for a a more natural on-the-go brow. You can use the brush to make hairlike stokes at the front of your brows and to clean them up and add some definition on the rest.

5. NYX Mineral Stick Foundation

I by no means have perfect skin. One of the greatest issues is that I suffer from dark acne scars. With that, it's always been difficult for me to find a full coverage foundation that doesn't make me feel casket ready. I use this foundation as a concealer to cover my blemishes, and pair it with LA Girl Pro Concealer to act as a foundation (ain't that ass backwards), and I absolutely love how full yet light the coverage is.
