How many of you are still sticking to your guns about the goals you set forth for the New Year? Do you feel like you need a do over, or are you checking off the things you dreamt about on your vision board?
It's so easy and natural to need a huge event or moment in time to set goals around. But that doesn't always have to be the case. Treat the start of each month as one of those times. I looked back at my vision board a couple of weeks ago and realized that I was only reaching some of my goals, but that was only because my vision gone in a different direction, and for the better.
Sometimes setting a whole year of goals for yourself can be overwhelming, and as with before may not hold true to what you want to do months down the line. Additionally, you want for these goals to be S.M.A.R.T., which is an acronym for specific, measurable, actionable, realistic and timely.
It can be difficult, overwhelming and unfulfilling to set huge goals. Instead, take a step back, and make your goals steps towards the main accomplishment. It's more palatable that way, and allows for you to be able to actually wrap your mind around the small drops of water that lead into the bucket.
Also, some goals may be seasonal. With the fall and back to school season approaching what are looking to accomplish there? As always, I'm a firm believer in the power of do, but you need a plan in order to see it through.
